Meet the Team

Educational Director: Crystal Wenzel, M.Ed in Special Education

Crystal has been the Educational Director of Milagre Kids School / South Campus since its inception in 2008.  She has worked as an educator with students with Autism since 1994.  She obtained undergraduate degree in Special Education from West Chester University and her Masters in Education from American College of Education.   Throughout the years, she has worked with individuals with Autism both within the home and classroom setting.  She has had the opportunities to present on her classroom management and organizational strategies through PATTAN and at the PENN State Autism Conference.  Since beginning at Milagre, she has designed and implemented individualized educational and behavioral programming for the students at Milagre Kids School.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst:
Lindsay Parfitt, MA, BCBA, LBS

Lindsay joined the Milagre team as the school and adult program Behavior Analyst in February 2021. Although new to the Milagre team, she is not new to the field. Lindsay began working with individuals diagnosed with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities in 2008 as a therapeutic support staff, after teaching preschool following the completion of her undergraduate degree. Lindsay received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies (2005); and acquired a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis through Rowan University (2015). Throughout her career, Lindsay has worked with individuals (ages 3-28) with various diagnoses, ranging in severity and skill level. Her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis came when she worked as a teacher’s assistant in an ABA based private school and had an exceptional mentor. During her time there, she received training in the PA Verbal Behavior Project by PATTAN and was promoted to behavior analyst assistant before leaving to finish her graduate practicum in 2014. Since then, she has provided consultation in homes, and school districts on the implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), as well as staff training on district professional development days.  She most recently served as a behavior analyst in a private school for students diagnosed with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Mental Health Disorders. These experiences have taught her flexibility and creativity when managing individual needs.
